This means that every time a file is accessed or attempted to be accessed on this server, the following data about this process is stored in a log file (server log file) by default for the purpose of system security and for statistical purposes:
- the browser types and versions used,
- the operating system used by the accessing system
- the website from which an accessing system arrives at our website (so-called referrer),
- the sub-websites which are accessed via an accessing system on my website,
- the date and time of an access to the internet page,
- an internet protocol address (IP address)
(IP address = An IP address is an address in computer networks which - like the Internet - is based on the Internet Protocol (IP). It is assigned to devices that are connected to the network and thus makes the devices addressable and thus accessible),
- the Internet service provider of the accessing system and
other similar data and information that serve to avert danger in the event of attacks on my system. Conclusions about your name, address, telephone number or e-mail address are not drawn from this.
Our website partly uses so-called cookies, they do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain any viruses. Cookies serve to make the offer user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files which are stored on your computer and which save certain settings and data for exchange with our system via your browser.
Most of the cookies we use are so-called "session cookies". Session cookies are small units of information that a provider stores in the RAM of the visitor's computer. A randomly generated unique identification number, a so-called session ID, is stored in a session cookie. In addition, a cookie contains information about its origin and storage period. Session cookies cannot store any other data. They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain on your terminal device and enable us to recognize your browser the next time you visit (persistent cookies).
You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited.
Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process or to provide certain functions you have requested are stored on the basis of Art. 6 (1f) DSGVO. We have a legitimate interest in storing cookies for the technically error-free and optimised provision of our services.
5. Social Media
5.1 Facebook - Plugins
Plugins of the social network Facebook, provider Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA are integrated on our website. You can recognize the Facebook plugins by the Facebook logo or the "Like" button on our page. You can find an overview of the Facebook plugins here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/.
When you visit our site, a direct connection is established between your browser and the Facebook server via the plugin. Facebook thereby receives the information that you have visited our site with your IP address.
If you do not want Facebook to be able to associate your visit to our website with your Facebook account, please log out of your user account.
5.2 Instagram plugin
Functions of the Instagram service are integrated on our website. These functions are offered by Instagram Inc. 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA.
If you are logged into your Instagram account, you can link the content of our page to your Instagram profile by clicking on the Instagram button. This allows Instagram to associate the visit to our page with your user account. We would like to point out that we, as the provider of the site, have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by Instagram.
Our website uses functions of the network LinkedIn. The provider is LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
Each time you access our site that contains functions of LinkedIn, a connection to LinkedIn servers is established. LinkedIn is informed that you have visited our website with your IP address. If you click on the LinkedIn "Recommend" button and are logged into your LinkedIn account, it is possible for LinkedIn to associate your visit to our website with you and your account. We would like to point out that we, as the provider of the site, have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by LinkedIn.
Our website uses the services of MailChimp for sending newsletters. The provider is Rocket Science Group LLC, 675 Ponce DE Leon Av NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA.
MailChimp is a service with which, among other things, the sending of newsletters can be organised and analysed. When you enter data for the purpose of receiving newsletters (e.g. email address), this data is stored on MailChimp servers in the USA.
MailChimp is certified according to the "EU-US Privacy Shield". The "Privacy-Shield" is an agreement between the EU and the USA, which is intended to ensure compliance with European data protection standards in the USA.
With the help of MailChimp, we can analyze our newsletter campaigns. When you open an email sent by MailChimp, a file contained in the email (so-called web beacon) connects to MailChimp's servers in the USA. This makes it possible to determine whether a newsletter message has been opened and which links, if any, have been clicked on. In addition, technical information is recorded (e.g. time of retrieval, IP address). This information cannot be assigned to the respective newsletter recipient. It is used exclusively for the statistical analysis of newsletter campaigns. The results of these analyses can be used to better adapt future newsletters to the interests of the recipients.
If you do not want any analysis by MailChimp, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter. For this purpose, we provide a corresponding link in every newsletter message.
The data processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1a)DSGVO. You can revoke this consent at any time by unsubscribing from the newsletter. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.
The data you provide for the purpose of receiving the newsletter will be stored by us until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and will be deleted from our server as well as from the MailChimp server after you unsubscribe from the newsletter. Data stored by us for other purposes (e.g. email addresses for the member area) remain unaffected by this.
6. Email Contact
If you contact us (e.g. via contact form or email), we will process your details to process the enquiry and in the event that follow-up questions arise.
If the data processing is carried out for the implementation of pre-contractual measures, which are carried out in response to your enquiry, or, if you are already one of our customers, for the implementation of the contract, the legal basis for this data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 b) DSGVO.
We only process further personal data if you consent to this (Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 a) DSGVO) or if we have a legitimate interest in processing your data (Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 f) DSGVO). A legitimate interest is, for example, to respond to your email.
To register for the newsletter, the data requested in the registration process is required. The registration for the newsletter is logged. After registering, you will receive a message to the email address you provided asking you to confirm your registration ("double opt-in"). This is necessary to prevent third parties from registering with your email address.
You can revoke your consent to receive the newsletter at any time and thus unsubscribe.
We store the registration data as long as it is needed for sending the newsletter. We store the logging of the registration and the mailing address as long as there was an interest in proving the consent originally given, which is usually the limitation periods for claims under civil law, i.e. a maximum of three years.
The legal basis for sending the newsletter is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 a) in conjunction with Art. 7 DSGVO in conjunction with § 7 Para. 2 No. 3 UWG. The legal basis for logging the registration is a legitimate interest in proving that the mailing was carried out with your consent.
You can cancel your registration at any time without incurring any costs other than the transmission costs according to the basic rates. Of course, you will also find an unsubscribe link in every newsletter.
8. Website Analytics
We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about the use of this website by visitors to the site is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
This is also my legitimate interest according to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 f) DSGVO.
Google has submitted to the Privacy Shield agreement concluded between the European Union and the USA and has certified itself. Google thereby undertakes to comply with the standards and regulations of European data protection law. You can find more information in the entry linked below: https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active.
We have activated IP anonymisation on this website (anonymizeIp). However, this means that your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google will use this information on our behalf for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage.
Furthermore, you can prevent the transmission of the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (incl. your IP address) to Google as well as the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
